Whistleblower Policy
MultiLink Community Services Inc. is committed to the highest standards of ethical behaviour, integrity, and accountability. We encourage a strong “speak up” culture where people feel safe to report suspected wrongdoing.
This policy supports employees, contractors, volunteers, suppliers, and associated parties to confidentially report actual or suspected misconduct, illegal activity, or serious breaches of organisational policies without fear of intimidation, disadvantage, or retaliation.
Reportable conduct may include:
- Fraud, theft, or dishonest conduct
- Corruption, bribery, or misuse of funds
- Illegal or unethical behaviour
- Serious breaches of internal policies
- Conduct that endangers health, safety, or the public
- Behaviour that damages MultiLink’s reputation or governance
Reports can be made confidentially or anonymously to designated senior staff or Management Committee members. MultiLink will:
- Protect the identity of whistleblowers (where permitted by law)
- Ensure fairness to all parties
- Protect individuals from victimisation or reprisal
- Provide support throughout any investigation
- Assess and investigate reports appropriately and independently
Personal work-related grievances (such as interpersonal disputes or standard HR matters) are managed under separate grievance processes. General service complaints and feedback are also managed separately under our Complaints Management Policy.
